Sustainability Policy

Purpose:

Talent Groups is committed to promoting sustainability. We aim to follow and to promote good sustainability practice, to reduce the environmental impacts of all our activities and to help our clients to do the same.

Environmental Principals:

Talent Groups is committed to conducting operations and activities in an environmentally responsible and sustainable manner. In our commitment, we have adopted the strategies detailed below to reduce our energy and paper consumption, recycle and responsibly dispose of waste, and use green office supplies. We will continually review these strategies and will strive to improve our sustainability performance.

To put these principles into practice we will:

Energy Conservation

• Reduce the energy consumption of office equipment by purchasing energy efficient equipment and good housekeeping.
• Reduce fossil fuel consumption and air pollution.
• Utilize videoconferencing and conference calls as an alternative to travel when possible.
• Encourage employees to ride mass transit or other alternative forms of transportation, whenever possible.

Minimize Waste and Increase Recycling

• Strive to achieve a more paperless office. Avoid using paper by distributing and storing documents electronically. Print and photocopy only when needed and double side printing jobs when possible.
• Eliminated the production and distribution of paper paystubs.
• Reduce the amount of toner in documents that will be printed when possible.
• Recycle paper, paper products, plastic, binders, folders, catalogs, boxes, bottles, cans, batteries, electronics, toner and ink cartridges.
• Donate used furniture and electronics.

Minimize Toxics and Hazardous Waste

• Reduce the use of toxic chemicals and use biodegradable chemicals alternatives wherever possible.

Commitment to Green Purchasing

• Use at least 50% remanufactured toner cartridges in printers.
• Purchase appliances and equipment (printers, copiers, microwaves, etc.), that are Energy Star certified models.
