Paul Baldwin qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the UK and has spent the last 35 years in the IT consulting industry. He was transferred to the US from the London office to manage the US entity of a publicly quoted IT consulting company, Hestair PLC.
Paul's experience in the IT consulting arena has encompassed all aspects of the industry from IT staff augmentation, government consulting practices and specialty consulting practices. His experience extends from startup operations to large publicly quoted entities, and particularly enjoys presiding over the growth of young companies.
Paul has held the role of CFO for most of his career and is currently instrumental in steering the recent acquisitions towards a common business strategy and best practice models across all entities. Also enjoys assisting in combining the financial systems into a unified reporting process that will best serve the entity owners and managers.
Paul is also currently serving as a founding Board and Audit committee member of the nonPariel Institute
(npusa.org) an
organization founded by a prior colleague. The organization is dedicated to providing IT technical training to students that have been diagnosed on the autism spectrum, in order to give them the tools and opportunity to become productive and contributing members of society. Abacus Technical Services also features nonPariel as an organization sponsored by the company.
