Edgelink Denver Roots For Candidates In Go Code Colorado Finals

The event was held at the History Colorado Center, a symbolic choice that made Colorado’s extensive past the launching point for the future of Colorado achievement. Before each of the nine finalist groups made their presentation, there was an incredible plated dinner in the main hall prepared by local chefs and stocked with plenty of local beers. After the meal, the final lap of the Go Code Colorado competition began.

Each team had a timed presentation, which the judges evaluated as 20% of the overall score. All the competitors were evenly matched, but the following three projects rose to victory:

MentorMatter – an app that connects recent college graduates with industry mentors willing to volunteer their time as a way of keeping the workforce competitive.

Stay Co-Flow – an incentivized mobile app built to reduce traffic congestion on Colorado roads by encouraging and validating socially-responsible and environmentally-friendly commuting behavior.

Pikr Knows – a Colorado tourism app that matches Colorado natives and visitors with points of interests that are compatible with the information they’ve personally volunteered.

The EdgeLink team was so proud to see one of our candidates earn a part of that $25,000 check on stage, bringing an exciting evening to a satisfying close.

It really highlighted the technology, creativity, and entrepreneurship that Colorado has been building year over year. Where else would you see the private sector and public sectors come together to benefit people statewide? It’s only in Colorado.”
