QCG's Anson Wai Completes Bike to the Beach - Cycling to raise money for Autism

About Bike to the Beach


Autism is an evolving cause with critical areas where funding can make an impact.Bike to the Beach funds both local service providers and national research and advocacy partners like Autism Speaks. This balance of individual service and system-wide change is important in three areas that are affecting millions of individuals:  
  • Early Diagnoses - If we can identify and diagnose developmental differences at an early age, the treatments and therapies are much more effective.
  • The Waiver Cliff - There is not currently a path to employment and independent living for many individuals with developmental disabilities after high school. 
  • Future Planning - We need solutions for families that won't always be able to care for their loved ones either in the future or in the case of hardship. This takes creative housing and employment solutions.
