Rapid Deployment of Firewall Engineers to Strengthen Cybersecurity for a Global Financial Leader

Our client, a global leader in the financial services industry, is known for handling millions of secure transactions daily. As part of their ongoing efforts to enhance network security, the client sought specialized expertise to support their firewall infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and protection against evolving cyber threats.

CHALLENGE

The client required immediate assistance in hiring junior Firewall Engineers to strengthen their cybersecurity infrastructure. With rising concerns in security vulnerabilities, they needed a team in place quickly to ensure network security and regulatory compliance, especially given the high stakes involved in handling sensitive financial data

APPROACH

Leveraging our agile staffing model, we mobilized a dedicated recruitment team within hours. Initially, one recruiter began sourcing candidates, but as the urgency increased, two more joined the effort. To streamline the process and reduce the client’s time commitment in interviews, we engaged the Talent Groups Solutions Team, composed of high-level technical SMEs, to conduct comprehensive technical screenings. This ensured that only the most qualified candidates were submitted, allowing the client to conduct 30-minute light technical interviews instead of their usual two-round process. By the end of the week, four of the five positions were filled, and an additional firewall engineer was identified to meet the evolving needs of the project.

IMPACT

All five firewall engineering positions were successfully filled, with candidates starting within two weeks. Our proactive efforts not only addressed the immediate staffing need but also identified an additional role for a highly specialized engineer. Recognizing the effectiveness and quality of our placements, the client opened another position, which we also successfully filled. This swift and efficient response solidified our partnership, paving the way for future staffing engagements.
