Why You’ll Always Find Edgelink At C-level Ski Day

The staffing business doesn’t have to be boring. We find that when you’re hard-wired to a business mentality at all times, you miss out on chances to really connect with people. That’s why we get involved with the Denver Startup week, mix with great minds at Go Code Colorado, CTA (Colorado Technology Association), numerous technology meetups and my personal favorite event: C-Level Ski Day

This was the 5th year we were part of the C-Level/Technology Leadership Ski Day. This is by far my favorite “work event,” if you can call it that, of the year. We cosponsor Colorado Ski Day, an event arranged by ViaWest, along with a number of great names in the Denver technology community. This is a great opportunity to show appreciation to our partners, get out and enjoy a day of skiing, mingle with other technology leaders, eat, and of course drink some beers.

This year, almost one hundred people enjoyed the outing to Arapahoe Basin. Our fundraising for the Colorado Avalanche Information Center (CAIC) also hit a record high of $10,000. All of that money will help fund the non-profit CAIC as it provides native Coloradans and tourists with up-to-the-minute conditions on statewide mountain ranges, keeping people safe from dangerous avalanche conditions.
