Portland Startup Weekend seeks to provide opportunities for entrepreneurs to pitch ideas to gain funding and teammates to transform their concept into a reality. Participants get 60 seconds to pitch an idea on Friday night and if they are chosen to continue in the competition, they will have a working prototype in order by Sunday night, 54 hours later.  Investors and sponsors contribute ideas, hosting, tools and plenty of feedback throughout the process.
